The White Lighthouse is a renowned attraction in Liuqiu Township, also known as Little Liuqiu Island, located in the southern part of Kaohsiung City. It is situated atop the Jianshan peak in the southeast of the island, offering visitors a panoramic view of the beautiful coastline of Little Liuqiu. Constructed in 1929, the White Lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete structure painted entirely in white. At night, the lighthouse’s navigational light shines brightly, guiding ships in the nearby waters. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
