The Wu Lao Stream features several sediment-retaining dams that create several small waterfalls. In between, the stream is calm with shallow waters, making it ideal for water play, shrimp catching, and boating activities. In the deeper pools, there is an abundance of creek fish and stone-clinging fish, making it a popular spot for those who enjoy creek fishing.
Wu Lao Pit Scenic Area boasts two large camping areas that can accommodate up to 1000 people for camping activities, and the facilities are very comprehensive. These include cooking pavilions, bonfire sites, rain shelters, and separate sanitary facilities for men and women. Each barbecue pavilion is equipped with eight grills, eight camping spots, and eight sets of wooden picnic tables, providing great convenience.
Within the Wu Lao Pit Scenic Area, there is a service center with a blue-sloping roof and a white body. The center displays information related to Wu Lao Pit, including park guides, ticket prices, camping site rental methods, and catering services. It also provides changing facilities for visitors who wish to swim and a pavilion for rest, from where one can enjoy the surrounding green mountains and clear waters, appreciating the natural scenery. The area is open all year round from 08:00 to 20:00.
