The Wu Nuan Stone Slab Bridge was the main official road from Jiaoxi to Yilan in the Qing Dynasty. The Wu Nuan Stone Slab Bridge was originally paved with six long stone slabs. Later, the bridge deck was widened and the stone slabs were separated by long cement columns. It is said that the ships from Wushi Port passing through Dezikou Creek to Wu Nuan Port carried the mainland ballast stones to build it. In 1891 (the 17th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty), it was rebuilt and there is a ‘Donation Stele for Rebuilding Stone Bridge’. Open all year round and all day.
