Xiaojia Garden is located at Shuiyuan Road, Fengyuan City, Taichung. It is famous for its cherry blossoms. There are more than a hundred varieties and more than 2,000 cherry blossom trees cultivated, covering an area of 20 mu. During the flowering period from February to May every year, the garden is full of brilliant cherry blossoms and is a rare cherry blossom viewing holy place. The overall design of Xiaojia Garden is a traditional Chinese garden landscape, with pavilions, terraces, and towers, as well as mountains and waterfalls. A ‘Tangmen labyrinth’ paved with small round stones serves as a walking path for viewing cherry blossoms. The path is winding and the cherry blossoms are brilliant. Being in it is like being in an imperial garden. Nowhere does it not allow tourists to experience a strong Chinese style. Wandering among them is like being in a paradise. There are also several ponds in the garden. Beside the ponds are two white boulders transported from Dajia River. The large one weighs 70,000 catties, which is quite spectacular.
