West Lake Resort is located in Xihu Village, Sanyi Township, Miaoli County. It is named after the Guai Zi Lake in the resort, which is as beautiful as the West Lake in Hangzhou. The lake is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The eyes are full of verdant greenery and the scenery is pleasant. West Lake Resort is a large amusement area with European gardens and forest landscapes as the main contents. Inside the West Lake Resort, there are Versailles Garden, parent-child paradise, forest bath, golf course, amusement park, garden restaurant, lake viewing platform, celebrity performance square, snakewood carving art and so on. The two European-style buildings located among the hills – coffee art museum and restaurant. With orange-red roofs and light yellow and pure white wooden walls, they are very elegant and beautiful, and complement the garden. The slopes are planted with tung trees, acacia trees and Guadua amplexifolia. It is an ideal place for forest bathing.
