Xingtian Temple, located near the Xingtian MRT Station, is a Taoist temple situated in the bustling city center, primarily dedicated to Guan Sheng Di Jun. The main hall’s inscription ‘Xingtian Temple’ was written by Yu Youren. In front of the hall stands a Tian Gong furnace, with distinctive dragon-shaped ear handles on both sides and dragon heads extending towards the sky. Upon entering the front hall, one can witness numerous devotees bowing and kneeling in worship.
Many locals visit the temple when facing difficulties, and the number of believers can be astonishing, with lines often forming a circle. The altar dedicated to the deities only features fresh flowers and clear tea, with no other offerings. Xingtian Temple discourages the burning of joss paper and offering of sacrifices, and instead provides incense and candles. There is no donation box in front of the temple hall, and worshippers only need to pray with sincerity. The temple is open all year round from 4:00 to 22:00 and offers barrier-free access services with a barrier-free entrance.Xingtian Temple
