Yong’an Seaside Park is located in Xinwu Township, Taoyuan County, at the estuary of Shezi Creek, connected to Yong’an Fishing Port by the Guanhai Bridge. The park covers an area of approximately 8 hectares and is a prime location for sea viewing, shell collecting, leisure, and water play along the coastal area of Taoyuan.
Yong’an Seaside Recreation Area was developed by the Xinwu Township Office, utilizing the existing Casuarina equisetifolia windbreak forest. The area is dense with trees, exuding a tropical atmosphere, and is divided into two parts. The first half is known as Yong’an Ocean Forest Amusement Park, featuring a large and intact coastal windbreak forest landscape, historical avenues of trees, as well as facilities for ox carts, spinning tops, camping barbecue areas, physical exercise fields, and general amusement facilities. The second half is called Yong’an Seaside Amusement Park, which focuses on leisure, relaxation, and natural scenery appreciation. Strolling along the unique seaside shaded paths here, one can enjoy shell collecting, sea viewing, leisure, and play in a distinctive atmosphere.
