Zengwen Estuary Wetland is located at the mouth of the Zengwen River, bordered by the Guosheng Lighthouse to the north, the Nan Di and Qigu sea embankments to the south, and the Qingcao Lun embankment to the south, with the Guosheng Bridge marking the eastern boundary.
The shallow pond aquaculture and tidal flats at the estuary are a paradise for waterfowl. The floating area on the north embankment has witnessed the spectacular sight of 20,000 migratory birds gathering. Every winter, one can often see nearly ten thousand waterbirds standing in rows along the fish farm embankment.
The wetland is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
