Zhai Ming Temple is located in Taoyuan City, a place with outstanding people and beautiful scenery. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, the first abbot, Master Xingyue, brought back the statue of Bodhisattva from Putuo Mountain in the South China Sea. He built a thatched cottage in his hometown for secluded cultivation, opening the century-long history page of Zhai Ming Temple. In 1999, the sixth-generation abbot, lay Buddhist Jiang Zhangren, entrusted Dharma Drum Mountain to take over the Buddhist affairs of Zhai Ming Temple. Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 16:00 all year round.
