The ‘Zhenzaitouxi Natural Park’ is a newly completed scenic spot in July 2014. It is located in Lane 67, Pingjing Street on Yangmingshan. The place name ‘Zhenzaitou’ is derived from the people in the Pingding area. Originally, it was planned to dig an irrigation canal here, but later it was abandoned due to insufficient water sources. Thus, ‘Zhenzaitou’ was preserved. The entire trail of the ‘Zhenzaitouxi Natural Park’ is only 220 meters. The starting point is the Cherry Blossom Green Wave Square, and the end point is the Cherry Reading Pavilion and the Pink Cherry Snowy Square. The Taipei City Government has combined the local ecology, rural culture and the cherry blossom viewing characteristics of Lane 42, Pingjing Street to plan this park. So that while tourists enjoy cherry blossoms, they can also stroll along the riverbank scenery of Zhenzaitouxi and enjoy the idyllic scenery of countryside, mountain views and rural culture.
