Zhi Shan Rock, formerly known as ‘Yuan Shan Zai’, is a solitary hill composed of Tertiary sandstone. It is the only remaining site of the Zhi Shan Rock cultural layer in the Taipei area and a treasure trove of diverse and unique assets, including geography, history, humanities, landscape, and ecology. Visitors can learn about its origins through the exhibition facilities and ecological tours, making it an ideal place for family outings with children. Open all year round, Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
