Zhishan Garden

Zhishan Garden is located next to the National Palace Museum in Shilin District, Taipei City, covering an area of 5,687 square meters. It is planned based on the running script of Wang Xizhi, resembling the inner courtyard of a museum. Inside Zhishan Garden, there are attractions such as Orchid Pavilion, Goose Cage, Winding Stream, Pine Wind Pavilion, Water Pavilion, West Blue Bridge, and Washing Brush Pond, as well as Call Crane and Listen to Orioles, fully demonstrating the exquisite and elegant art of landscape creation. It allows visitors to immerse in the blend of Chinese garden aesthetics and scholarly atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia. By drawing on traditional Chinese garden design experiences, the garden constructs an antique Song-style scenery with a literary flair. Some describe Chinese gardens as a gentle and intricate poem or a slowly unfurling landscape scroll. One can relax and wander in the ideal world of ancient literati.
