# Zhongdu Kiln Site Overview
## Kiln Transformation and Preservation
The historic Zhongdu kiln site, formerly known as Zhongdu Tangrong Brick Kiln Factory, has undergone significant changes over the years. The No. 1, 2, and 6 kilns have been demolished and reconstructed into downdraft kilns. In addition to these, a tunnel kiln was later introduced to the site. Today, the main kilns that are preserved and can be seen in the factory area include the No. 3 Bagua kiln, the downdraft kiln, and the tunnel kiln. Adjacent to these structures, there is a distinctive red brick building that adds to the historical significance of the site.
## Visiting Hours
The Zhongdu kiln site is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, with operating hours between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Please note that the site is closed all day on Mondays.
