Zhonghe Zen Temple, located in Beitou District, was originally established by the Soto School of Japanese Buddhism in 1931. It primarily consists of two structures: Zhonghe Hall and Lingguang Pagoda.

The Lingguang Pagoda serves as a place to store the remains of ancestors, with a lotus seat designed on the first floor for the purpose of worship and offering. It is decorated with floral tiles imported from Japan and houses a stone statue of Guanyin.
