This is a Hakka folk house facing south. The courtyard is divided into two by a low wall. Above the main entrance hangs a huge plaque with three big characters ‘Zhongshu Hall’, presenting a magnificent momentum. Part of the front wall is intertwined with red bricks and tiles to form exquisite geometric figures and is connected with the European gable to form a decorative door view.
If you come to Hsinchu County, you may as well visit Zhongshu Hall and feel the historical and cultural charm it exudes.
Opening hours: Open from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
