‘A dancer you must see at least once in your lifetime!’ Spanish flamenco superstar Carlevan will challenge the classic ‘The Rite of Spring’, which has been performed countless times in the past century. With the unrestrained soul of flamenco and the strong emotional style in contemporary dance, combined with a double piano interpretation of the classic, he will combine the tense and vertical rhythm of the music with relaxed and flowing body movements. Through the toes, complex rhythms such as tapping and scraping are added to dialogue with two pianists, presenting an unprecedented ‘The Rite of Spring’.
