You may not be wise, but that’s not the point. We’ve transformed the dull into the boiled, and the boiled into the fried. Different doors I’ve passed through, in the cycle of life’s loop, allowing your sorrow to rest on my behalf for a moment. As ingredients, we four continue to grow and crawl uncontrollably—swimming in the earthworms, even in the frying pan, worms still grow! Autumn has come, a child has been born, the shop has closed, surgery has been done, and the weather has changed. The new album’s progress was unstoppable, but now it’s time to pack up and get ready for the journey. Some new songs haven’t even had the time to update and report, leaving us in a very passive situation. We know it’s like being a tropical frog with its neck squeezed. In December, our tour is the awakening of our subconscious genes from our rural Henan hometown, returning home with empty pockets to celebrate the New Year, which is a nameless anxiety that actually doesn’t exist. Although going out won’t make money, at least it brings peace of mind. So we set off on the old path of our Henan ancestors, working outside to earn money for the New Year, packing our bags and bidding farewell to our wives and children—leaving home. We might release a pre-release song before the tour, and we might also release a live album and documentary footage, taking its physical merchandise on the road. It’s also possible that neither of these things will happen, haha, that’s life, friends. Life is photons! It’s pain! Life is pain! Henan Tropical Frog’s December southern tour, welcome old friends to hear new songs, new friends to hear old songs, you know those four words, ‘not coming is fine,’ but this time it’s a bit different, ‘not coming means getting punished!’ The doors open on December 27th, Friday, and the show starts at 20:00. The exact duration of the performance will be determined on site.
