After the reconstruction in the 20th year of Jiaqing, it became the building we see today. The ‘Inverted Banyan Tree’: In front of the Ksitigarbha Temple, there is a very famous banyan tree. It is said to be about 9 meters high, with a trunk diameter of 3 meters, a crown width of about 50 square meters, and an age of about 250 years. According to legend, ‘Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’ belongs to the yin and yang gods. So at the beginning, this banyan tree was planted upside down with banyan branches, commonly known as the ‘inverted banyan tree’ and belongs to the ‘yin tree’.
