Longxing Island, located within Tianmu Lake Scenic Area, is a must-visit attraction that requires a boat trip to reach. The island is rich in vegetation, featuring a small hill with an elevation of 110 meters. Visiting the island is akin to a hiking experience, though without the need for extensive climbing. Upon reaching the summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the picturesque Tianmu Lake.
Upon entering Tianmu Lake Scenic Area, visitors can take a boat from the pier situated between Hu Li Mountain and the scenic area to Longxing Island.
The return trip brings tourists to China Tea Island, which is connected by a bridge. After arriving at Longxing Island via boat, visitors can first observe the White Dragon Waterfall, followed by the Butterfly Valley which houses butterfly specimens. Exiting Butterfly Valley, one can take two open-air long elevators (up only) to reach the summit and overlook the full panorama of Tianmu Lake Scenic Area.
Descending from the direction of the Elf Kingdom, without retracing steps, there are peacock, rabbit, and squirrel gardens where visitors can observe small animals. Further down is the performance venue of the Elf Kingdom, where one can watch cartoon character performances, each lasting 25 minutes. There is a sign upon arrival at Longxing Island indicating the performance times, which are subject to the actual schedule of the scenic area.
The scenic area is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:30. To reach Longxing Island, visitors must take a boat, with the last boat trip departing at 15:30. The specific operating status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
