Also known as Nong 16 Forest Park. It is the first forest park in northern Kaohsiung. After years of urban planning by the Kaohsiung City Government, it has been built into a recreational space with ecological wetlands, wooden boardwalks, bicycle lanes, and an ecological interpretation center. The forest park is planted with tree species and flowering plants suitable for subtropical climates and changing seasons, showing various colors. Through multi-layered plantations and ecological wetlands, biodiversity is achieved, making it a part of Kaohsiung’s ecological corridor. The drainage and water quality purification planning makes the forest park a self-contained ecosystem, like a breathing park in the city. Open all year round and open 24 hours a day.
