The official name is ‘Da Shi Jian’, one of the iconic landmarks of Kenting, a solitary rock protruding from the grassland, and the highest point in the Kenting Peninsula area. To reach the mountain, one must enter through the gate of Kenting National Forest Recreation Area, pass through Kenting Ranch, and follow the ridge line where climbing ropes are available for ascent. From the summit, one can overlook the entire Hengchun Peninsula with its beautiful scenery. The round trip takes approximately 3-4 hours. The mountain is open all year round, accessible 24/7, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
