The Sheding Nature Park has as many as 290 plant species. Here, more than 50 species of butterflies are nourished, making it an ideal place to observe butterfly ecology in Kenting National Park. The parking lot in front of the park is three vast grasslands, full of Stachytarpheta jamaicensis with blue-purple flowers. After walking into the park along the trail, you will first reach the tropical shrub jungle. With birds singing and butterflies dancing, the rich ecological landscape is breathtaking. The ‘Lion and Turtle Ridge’ in the park is located here. Continuing on, you enter the grassland landscape area on the hill. Here there are also reefs, secondary primitive forests and butterflies. Sitting or lying on the lawn, you can overlook the beautiful sea and sky scenery such as Eluanbi Lighthouse, the Bashi Channel and the Pacific Ocean. In the grand canyon on the east side of the trail, it is a huge reef. There are cracks of more than 50 meters among them. The trees on the top of the valley are intertwined, presenting a unique landscape. There are more than 40 limestone caves in the park. There are many precious stalagmites and stalactite landscapes inside the caves. In order to protect natural assets, the park has been included in protection. Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 17:00 all year round.
