The mosque is hidden next to Zhongzhen Market. It is located in the multicultural Longgang area. Here are the residents of military dependents’ villages from Yunnan and the border between Thailand and Myanmar in the past. Around the mid-1950s, they retreated to Taiwan. On the one hand, they hoped to have a fixed religious activity place for worship and gatherings. On the other hand, they felt that Taipei Mosque was far away and they couldn’t go north to chant scriptures and worship frequently. Thus, they had the idea of building a temple. Finally, in the later period, this Islamic faith center was established. After renovation, the appearance of the temple has been maintained until now.
