The Furniture Industry Museum in Tainan is the factory site of ‘Yongxingxiang Wood Industry Co., Ltd.’. It has exhibition halls including the collection exhibition hall, planted ecological area, Yongxing story hall, education hall, Taiwan furniture hall, and story house. It not only shows people the characteristic furniture of various periods in Taiwan but also enables people to understand the raw materials and technologies for making furniture. There are also driftwood creation areas, craft squares, and woodworking experience areas. Visitors can personally experience being a carpenter, feel the essence of mortise and tenon craftsmanship, and at the same time understand the manufacturing processes of furniture such as cutting, drying, lumbering, carpentry, carving, and painting.
