The grand outdoor mountain and water drama, ‘Panshan: A Grand Outdoor Mountain and Water Drama’, is staged within the 5A-level Panshan Scenic Area in Jizhou District, Tianjin City. With a rich history, Panshan Scenic Area is renowned for its natural landscapes and historical sites, as well as the harmonious blend of Buddhist and royal cultures, making it a preferred destination for leisure and tourism.
The drama is created and performed based on the folk tales and historical materials about Emperor Qianlong’s 32 visits to Panshan during the Qing Dynasty, as well as numerous myths and legends from the Panshan area, depicting the eternal emotions of an ancient emperor in a grand outdoor mountain and water performance. It is also a grand performance that awakens the purest love for the nation in people’s hearts.
