The Xiao Wulai Scenic Area is located within the Fuxing Township. ‘Wulai’, in the indigenous Atayal language, signifies warm springs. Adjacent to the waterfall scenic spot in the Xiao Wulai Scenic Area, there is a four-tiered waterfall viewing platform available for visitors to enjoy. The best bird-watching seasons are from May to June and November of the following year. The area is open year-round on Monday, Wednesday to Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00; it is closed all day on Tuesdays.
