The Shimen Canal Over-the-Mountain Branch Canal Rest Trail starts from Qingquan Street in the north and ends at the Chang’an Aqueduct No. 2 Bridge on Chang’an Road in the south, with a total length of 1600 meters.

This trail is well-equipped, with pavilions for rest, children’s playgrounds, and performance squares along the way. It is one of the four trails that are very suitable for leisurely walks.

A significant feature of the trail is the cherry blossoms planted along the route. In early spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the trail is adorned with a sea of delicate pink flowers, creating a beautiful scenery.

The southern section of the trail offers a pleasant view of paddy fields and ponds.

The trail is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
